- The Combined Performance Calculations
- Page Up for previous
- This field is updated each time any changes are made to any of the entered
- performance data fields.
- Three formulas are used as follows:
- If the ten year and five year input fields are both blank or set to zero;
- Combined = (4wk*13 + 4mo*3 + 1yr)
- If the ten year field is blank or zero and the five year is not zero;
- Combined = (4wk*13 + 4mo*3 + 1yr + 5yr*5)
- If the ten year field is not zero;
- Combined = (4wk*13 + 4mo*3 + 1yr + 5yr*5 + 10yr*10)

- The combined rating field was designed to give more weight to current
- performance by projecting the 4 week and 4 month gains forward for a year.
- You may enter data for time periods that are slightly different than those
- provided in the program and still get good results. The combined performance
- won't calculate exactly as designed, but should still give you a good
- indicator of the funds relative overall performances.
- Suggestions from you for other combined performance calculations are
- welcomed and will be considered in future upgrades.
- Soft Key Systems also builds custom designed programs to meet your specific
- needs. Please write for a cost estimate. When writing try to be as specific
- as possible on entry fields and calculations required.
